Our spiritual journey in NJ

WOW! Good Morning to all. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I remember that being such a mantra in the 70's and didn't really know what it had meant until much later on in life, like almost yesterday.

So here we are in Today and we can all celebrate who we are and what we have become. What I know for sure is that God wants me to be happy and that has been so hard for me to digest. But it just makes sense. God didn't put us here to be miserable. he created this wonderful world as a play land if we are willing to choose it

I look forward to the journey and to the adventure with all of you.

that there is a Chinese proverb: Great doubts deep

wisdom. Small doubts little wisdom.

Never stop doubting, never stop questioning, never,

ever assume you have all the answers. Having all the

answers kills the question itself; renders it lifeless --

and you, too...

Keep looking, keep seeking. Never, ever find it all.

Because when you find it all, you deny that there is

more. And there is never not more.

You will not have to think but a second to know

exactly why you received this message today.

I believe this Chinese proverb is saying that the more stronger our doubts are in ourselves, the more wisdom we will have. By doubting oneself, makes you continue to think and open your mind to all possibilities!

Here's to doubt!

What is really cool about this is that it gives us opportunities to reall expand as we slowly but surely come to question everything. It reminds me to never settle. When I know down deep inside that something I believe in or want can happen and someone says no - I am going to always believe anything is possible.

Believe in yourself - what a concept.

For me, the more I know, the more I know that I don't know. The more I'm willing to live in the "unknowing" or in "the question" the more open I am to receiving learning and/or wisdom.

My kids ask me questions such as "Is the force in StarWars real?" I tell them "In my world, it is real -- to me, it's the God force. With the God force, all things are possible." My nephew (Karen's son, JT) just asked "can you surf on a 100 dollar bill?" I told him, "I believe that you can, but I don't know how to tap into the force to make that happen." If Deepak Chopra and crew can get together to bend spoons with their mind, we can do anything....it's just a matter of tapping into the infinite wisdom available to us all.

I haven't read much lately and am slowly but surely finishing up the 3rd book of Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsh. I found a site that took quotes from his book and I thought I would share the site with all of you ... http://www.iloveulove.com/spirituality/cwg/cwgquotes.htm.

I hope you enjoy it,

I think there are many ways that this proverb could be rephrased, some of them being:

"Without doubt, you can not learn."

"If you don't have questions, you will not seek."

"If you think you know it all, think again."

If you saw my vast collection of books, both read and unread, you could see that I have many questions! Ha!

Right now, I am LOVING the webcast of Eckhart Tolle and Oprah and am learning a lot and getting many questions answered! Eckhart is such an evolved/enlightened person, that he appears to have all the answers. I thought Oprah had stumped him at one point when she asked him what he believes happens when we die - he told her that he doesn't put much thought into that. But he added that as physicists agree, energy can never be destroyed - it merely changes form. "The essence of the being is never the form." When we leave our bodies, we either join with the source or go through further experiences of awakening. If you want to hear it yourself, it is taken from the very end of chapter 3 of the webcast.
